Yuan and Pat receive 2017 Paul Ehrlich and Ludwig Darmstaedter Prize

One of the most prestigious awards in the field of medicine was presented to University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine faculty members Yuan and Pat. Link. The award is given by the Paul Ehrlich Foundation. The mission of the Paul Ehrlich Foundation is detailed below:

“The purpose of the Paul Ehrlich Foundation is to cultivate the intellectual tradition and the memory of Paul Ehrlich (1854-1915) while preserving the will of the founder, especially through the distinction of German and foreign scholars, Immunology, cancer research, hematology, microbiology and chemotherapy.”
